Jason Lehfeldt is an associate with the firm. Mr. Lehfeldt joined Young, Cohen & Durrett in 2023. His practice includes representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers in all areas of state workers’ compensation law. Mr.  Lehfeldt was in civil practice before transitioning exclusively to Workers’ Compensation defense in 2011. Before joining the firm, he worked eleven years as Staff Counsel representing major insurance carriers before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. His experience “in house” gives him an insiders perspective on the claims handling process, enabling him to provide tailored service to insurance carriers and third-party administrators from inception of the claim, through discovery, trial and appeal.

​Outside of work, Jason likes working on his classic motorcycle and spending time with his friends and family. He also is roommates with a grumpy cat, Dr. Fuzz.
