Jennifer A. Haber is an associate attorney with Young, Cohen & Durrett, APC. She was born and raised in “West LA” Los Angeles, CA. In high school, Jennifer was active in many community volunteer organizations taking part in “Hands across America”, painting out graffiti, feeding the homeless, and joined the track and cross-country teams leading her to earn her Letterman Jacket. Running was something she did with her dad when she was a child and while running is not her sport any longer, she enjoys taking walks, particularly in the evenings, to watch the beautiful sunsets.

After graduating from Alexander Hamilton High School, she attended college at UC San Diego, Revelle College and in 1992 received a B.A. degree in Philosophy with a double minor in Economics and Spanish Literature. Based on her strengths in persuasive writing and analysis (and love of public speaking – giving graduation speeches in Junior High, and High School) she moved to Sacramento, CA to attend Law School at McGeorge School of Law where she earned her J.D. degree in 1995.

Ms. Haber began her legal career as an Applicant Attorney focusing on workers’ compensation cases. Over the past 25 years, Jennifer has worked for a few prominent statewide defense firms and as in-house counsel for a large insurance company. Throughout her practice of law, she has earned a reputation of aggressively representing the interests of her clients while maintaining good relationships with opposing counsel which assists with settlements early in the litigation process. She is widely known and respected by several Workers’ Compensation Judges and takes pride in working as a team with her clients and co-workers.

Outside of work, Jennifer spends time with her teenage son as well as her two adorable Pomeranians.  The beach is her favorite place on earth.  Traveling the world visiting wonderous destinations while learning about the diverse culture and lifestyles of people in other countries are some of her passions.
